The Royal Guard was a military order of Gelfling established by Jen and Kira during the early Age of Power. Originally intended to protect the Castle of the Crystal, the Royal Guard became corrupt under the influence of the Crystalline Eminence, using its authority to requisition food and goods from the Gelfling Nation's citizens under the guise of keeping the Crystal satiated.
