J.M. Lee is an American author who wrote the Dark Crystal young adult novels after winning the Author quest. He subsequently wrote Songs of the Seven Gelfling Clans, Heroes of the Resistance, Aughra's Wisdom of Thra and The Dark Crystal Author Quest. He was a creative consultant and staff writer on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. He wrote the second episode, "Nothing Is Simple Anymore," and created the Podling language used in the show.[1]
