Ipsim Vlisabi-Nara, also known as Ipsy the Blue Stone Healer, was an early Maudra of the Drenchen Clan. She was popularly believed to have started the tradition of fashioning ritual blue stone hammers,[1] and the song Ipsy and the Great Seed credited her with having lead the colonization of Sog, as well as planting the seed of Smerth-Staba, which gave her and her people gills in gratitude.[2] According to the popular Gelfling Creation Myth, she was one of the Six Sisters.[3]

In the continuity established by the Dark Crystal young adult novel series, the founder of Sog and planter of the Great Smerth was called Mesabi-Nara, who was stated to have been born in the ocean with gills already present.[4][5]
