Fizzgig (species)

Fizzgigs are a small, furry non-sapient creature indigenous to the jungles of planet Thra. Kira's companion Fizzgig is of the species. They appear to be Thra's rough equivalent of dogs, exhibiting canine-like behaviours such as barking and whining. However, when displaying aggression, they roar and scream loudly, opening their jaws wide and baring all of their teeth as a warning. The Pod people have also domesticated the Fizzgigs, and use the active quadrupes for keeping watch on plant tendrils. They have four small, tiny paws, and their mouths are as big as their bodies, with multiple rows of teeth. Although they are quadrupedal in posture, they primarily get around by curling up into a ball and rolling around. This allows them to travel long distances faster than they would on foot.
