Finger vines

Finger-vines were a species of carnivorous plant, native to the High Hills. They existed during The Age of Division. They would wait for any unfortunate creature to touch their snake like vines, when touched they would wrap themselves around their prey and hoist them up into the air and hold it their, were it would be slowly devoured. Aughra, would use finger-vines to guard the entrance to her observatory.^[1]
