The Dream Space or Prism was a spirit realm that was the source of magic and prophecy.
Background
When Gelfling dreamfast they are able to share memories with one another. This is done thanks to the mystical realm known as the Dream Space. The Dream Space is what binds the Gelfling to Thra and to each other. Colloquially it is described as "a world within us all" or "the world with our world".
History
Age of Resistance
Brea learned of the Dream Space from a member of the Sifa Clan known as Cadia. Upon seeing the symbol she was attempting to decipher he tried to trick her in drinking powdered nulroot as it would connect her to the Dream World.[1]
After Mother Aughra had awoken and felt Thra in pain, she worked to regain her connection to the Song of Thra. After chanting and dancing, the oracle managed to enter Dream Space, and with the help of the Crystal of Truth pulled in several Gelfling who had been dreamfasting. There she urged them to light the fires of resistance against the Skeksis.[2]
Age of Power
A hundred trine after the fall of the Skeksis, Kensho found himself in the Dream Space, being fatally wounded by skekSil in Mithra.[3]
A New Age
After being named the successor of Jen and Kira, Kensho revisited the Dream Space again as he was drained by Trunk using Skeksis metal chains. There he was greeted by the souls of urSol and skekSil trapped there after the Second Great Division.[4]
