The Burning Heart was a great monument to the Gelfling Chal and Saluna, precursors to the Firelings. It could only be lit by a direct descendent of the couple.
Nita and Thurma traveled to this location so the former could prove herself to be worthy of the title of Ember Queen, and set it ablaze.[1]
