For one, she expressed a paranoid fear at the suggestion that Jen's Master, the Wisest of the Mystics (who is supposedly good) might be nearby. Secondly, she also offered to betray the Gelfling to the Skekses when she was brought before them - "You want Gelfling, why not ask me? No! Easier to send your crab-brained soldiers - burn my home! Now, home gone, Gelfling gone, nothing but AUGHRA!" On the flip side, she did freely give the shard to Jen (probably in the hopes that the Prophecy would come true, as she had no love for the Skekses), and she also used the Prophecy to taunt the Skekses - "He'll come - make you crawl, like the worms you are!" |
